Riptide Sunscreen Tinted - SPF 32 - Plastic Free

This stuff is great! It held up for hours each day swimming under the strong Baja sun—and bonus that it was so easy to apply to my kids' faces!

I waited a few months before reviewing this product because I wanted to really try it out. First I wasn’t so sure because when I applied it on my face, it was quite gray! I’m extremely fair skinned with freckles and burn easily in the sun. But after the product absorbed the gray color was gone and my skin looked soft and glowing! I can easily apply makeup over after it’s absorbed. Often I don’t use much makeup because my skin looks nice under the tinted sunscreen, not a total concealer, but just enough coverage to smooth my skin. I LOVE that my skin isn’t streaked with white and that this product evens out my skin. It nicely covers up any red areas on my skin as well. On top of that the ingredients are stellar, I love that it’s reef safe, and I can put it on my toddler and not worry I’m putting chemicals on her skin. I haven’t had a sun burn when using this product. I highly recommend and will continue to purchase! Thanks for an awesome product!

I love this stuff so much. When I first used this, I had a red inflamed spot on my nose. I was in the sun a lot that day. After using this once, it went away! I love that this is good for my skin and it makes it super soft. This is also a great primer under lightweight foundation. I find it very smoothing and it makes my skin look better than it is. Sometimes I just use this and a little concealer. The tint for me is slightly greyish but I must have grey undertones in my skin because after a few minutes, it completely disappears. I have dry skin to very dry skin and this stuff looks like a satin finish on me. It’s thick but spreads easily and it makes my skin so much softer. I feel so protected. All other sunscreens in the past don’t hold a candle to this one. Please don’t EVER stop making this! I just bought two more because I’m afraid it will discontinue.

All four stars go to Jess- the creator of Pacific Beach Organics!. I was excited to try out this product because it is reef-safe and comes in plastic-free packaging. This sunscreen has a thick consistency and is VERY protective-- perfect for surfers, divers or people spending a lot of time in the ocean! I also put it to the test after applying it and it is extremely water resistant. Even after I scrubbed my face vigorously with warm water and cleanser immediately after applying the sunscreen, there was still a good layer of it on my face. I spread what was remaining and it lasted me the rest of my day underneath the harsh Arizona sun. Unfortunately, the thicker consistency wasn't working out for my skin and my lifestyle in a dry climate. I felt like it wasn't allowing my skin to breath and it was causing mild irritation, dryness (probably due to the lack of moisture in the air), and some flaking. I emailed Jess and she was so kind to issue me a full refund! If you are a surfer, scuba diver, or ocean swimmer and considering pacific beach organics, I say go for it- this would be a GREAT sunscreen for you!

I’ve been using this product for 4 years now and it’s the only sunscreen that makes my skin healthier. I truly love the tinted color and it resists to saltwater really well. Just love it!

I LOVE this product. I used to use different sunscreen on mine and my kids's skin because I really didn't like how the zinc products felt and looked on me (sticky, white) but now I use PB organics on myself and my two kids regularly and it's just perfection. Lightweight, no white strikes, and extremely durable. 100% recommend!

I recently purchased this sunscreen in a 4 oz size and love it!!! It goes on smooth and hasn't stained my clothes. My skin feels silky and I feel confident using a sunscreen without harsh chemicals. The scent is heavenly and makes me want to eat it!! Please bring back the larger size!!! Love, love, love this!
